ANNA PHELPS
Music is my passion!  I love accompanying for the Heritage choirs, assisting basic theory classes, and helping in any and all musical aspects of Heritage Academy.  Over 25 years ago, I began teaching private piano lessons and group lessons.  Not only do I enjoy teaching students of all ages, I also found that organizing group theory lessons, piano teams, and inspiring students to learn and appreciate quality repertoire added to my passion.  I’ve taken classes at MCC, but chose to postpone my studies when I began my family.  It’s great to be back!  I’ve enjoyed playing for and organizing the musicians pit for the Heritage Academy musicals “Meet Me in St. Louis,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Gondoliers,” and “Patience” and look forward to many more.  In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and 6 children.
